In the event of a collision, you can support your claim with more evidence supplied by the array of cameras connected to your Lytx Hub.

CAPTURE THE FULL STORYFROM ALL ANGLESWITH LYTX HUB

To manage all aspects of safety and security, you need sight of every angle. Adding side and rear cameras and connecting them with the Lytx Hub means you’ll be able to better verify workers’ compensation claims, understand mystery damage, help your drivers avoid injury, and reconstruct all types of collision claims, including rear- end and sideswipe incidents.

HOW IT WORKS

The Lytx Hub is the best way to broaden your view on each vehicle in your fleet. DriveCam uses the Lytx Hub as a relay terminal to connect multiple cameras that can be strategically placed throughout the vehicle. All video footage will be recorded simultaneously via the DriveCam and stored in the Lytx cloud.

In addition, this upgrade offers you visibility over any possible hotspots that may be vulnerable to tampering or theft. Having a network of cameras with Lytx Hub ensures that no matter the incident, you will be able to catch every angle of the event, giving you true clarity.

Frequently asked questions

How does Lytx Hub connect to DriveCam?

The Lytx Hub is typically connected to the DriveCam device through a wired connection. The DriveCam device would typically be installed in the vehicle, and the Lytx Hub would be connected to it using a cable. Once the two devices are connected, the Lytx Hub can be used to connect multiple cameras to the DriveCam system, allowing for simultaneous recording of video footage from multiple angles. The video footage is then stored in the Lytx cloud for later review.

Is it required for me to have a Lytx Hub and DriveCam?

The importance of connecting a DriveCam device to a Lytx Hub would depend on the specific needs and goals of the user. The Lytx Hub can provide a number of benefits when used in conjunction with a DriveCam device, such as the ability to connect multiple cameras for continuous recording, as well as the ability to access the recorded video footage from a central location in the cloud. If these features are important for your fleet management or safety purposes, then it may be worthwhile to consider connecting your DriveCam device to a Lytx Hub.

Can Lytx Hub connect to third-party devices?

It is possible that the Lytx Hub could be used to connect third-party cameras to a DriveCam system, although this would depend on the specific capabilities and compatibility of the third-party cameras and the Lytx Hub. You would need to check with the manufacturer or a technical support representative to determine if it is possible to connect third-party cameras to the Lytx Hub and, if so, what steps are required to do so.

Does Lytx Hub instantly turn off when the vehicle is turned off?

The Lytx Hub is designed to stay on after the vehicle is turned off, until the DriveCam it is connected to has shut down. This is accomplished through the use of a separate power source for the Lytx Hub. In this way, the Lytx Hub would be able to continue operating and recording video footage even when the vehicle is not in use, ensuring anything important is still recorded after the vehicle has stopped and the driver has exited the vehicle.
